Introducing Yara

Yara Abdalgany is a sound engineer from Syria. She has been living in the UK for over 5 years studying for her Music Technology Undergraduate Degree. She is currently studying for her Cultural Events Management MA and in her spare time volunteers as the Sports & Societies Producer for DemonTV. Yara has been involved in the music and live events industry since she was 15 and has faced a number of issues working in a male dominated industry. She has come to share her experiences on episode 15 'leads&cables' of the&podcast.
